About:

Sylvie is an incredibly versatile artist mastering techniques in wood carving, painting, sculpture and drawing. Her corpus of work includes 400 sculptures, paintings, wood carvings and 100 drawings (so far).

A graduate of LEP de Genech, France and the Institut Saint Luc in Tournai, Belgium, Sylvie has spent thirty years restoring precious artworks from cathedral woodworks to 17th century paintings.

- restoration of church and cathedral furniture such as altarpieces, tabernacles, altars, pulpits, stalls, stations of the cross and numerous statues.
- restoration of wall paintings including clearing, consolidation of the collections and pictorial reintegration.
- restoration and creation of various ornamental decorations, faux marble, faux wood and patinas.
- restoration of many paintings and their frames in the workshop and on site.

Throughout her incredible career Sylvie became imbued with beauty, essence and the search for perfection. An incredibly talented and gifted artist, Sylvie has created a language of her own and one that becomes instantly memorable.

Sylvie currently lives in her native France.
